I thought that you had vanished into thin air. Where have you been?

Now I don’t know which game is Articulate. But I like you to say that I am a passionate blogger, though I think myself to be a lazy blogger. See I finished writing about my new year trip in May!

  2. 2008 May 12

    @ Poonam,

Yeah.. was caught up with a lotta stuff… But Yeah.. I’m back now! :) ..

Articulate is a terrific game.. It’s a board-game that requires a very sharp tongue… Kinda like Pictionary.. but instead of ‘drawing’ to describe a word… u have to ‘talk’ to make your team guess the word…

    Check this out – http://www.gamesbunny.co.uk/articulate.htm

Wow, no spelling mistakes this time round! Good job bud!

  5. 2008 May 13

Ohhh..here you are. I thought you have gone to the Himalayas or something. :P
I don’t think anyone would have heard of a game called “articulate”. I read the link you have given. Seems interesting.
And, don’t you think Nayantara is a little….errr…old fashioned. She is gonna kill you when she grows up. :P

    @ Sasanka,

    Oh… Nayantara is a south-indian actress??… Didnt know that … I should check her out! .. :P

    @ Ujjwal,

You are an auto-mated spell-checking bot!! … I’m glad I passed your ‘test’…. at least once!

    @ Amit,

Was forced to take a sabbatical from Blogging.. :)

Yeah.. Not too many people have heard of ‘Articulate’ .. but try it sometime.. it’s pretty neat.. and a lot of fun.

‘Nayantara’ – Another friend gave me exactly the same feedback! ;) .. But I personally somehow really like the name.. Dont know why… :D

  7. 2008 May 13

Yay, you like KFC too! :D

And as far as the name is concerned, it is kind of old fashioned yes but I like it all the same. At least it’s a little different. Different names are fun and we never know what the style would be like in the future. You just need one really popular Bollywood actress called Nayantara and your girl will be happy. :P

Articulate is something Amit was good at being during college….really shone during BITOTSAV extempore/debates :) . He now calls it a game and has teamed up with a US company to market it….more details here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Articulate

K so we know ull call ur Girl child Nayantara… u said that in ur sleep ever since I can remember…but what about the boy child…what about Mimoh… it seems catchy nowadays :)

Regarding the name.. Yeah ur probably right… I hope someone with the same name makes it BIG in Bollywood..so I can happily call my daughter that! ;)

    @ Siddharth

Tints… Thanks for the ‘kind words’ .. :D

BTW, Did I tell u about “Nayantara” too??.. Did I??… I didn’t know I “had it in me” for so long!

Hey even I love KFC. The nonveg burgers are great. You know that Chennai does not have a McD? Well, not till recently. The first outlet opened two months back I guess, so it was always KFC for me. And I have started loving it. :D

  13. 2008 May 15

    @ Amit,

No doubt about it.. Nothing like Zinger Burger with extra cheese..!
Talking of McD, Kolkata didnt have one till about a year back either.. Always wondered why though.. given the fact that Calcuttans are known to have such a huge appetite for junk food.. But KFC Burgers are way better anyway.. so im not complaining! … I wish Burger King sets up shop in India!

No way…. McD’s chicken burger is better than the best and atleast better than KFC’s zinger. I totally object..!!

Nayantara is a name of a flower in Bengali. Its not strange to like the smell of petrol. One of my didi’s friends like dit so much that she used to open petrol tank caps of bikes and “lunas” and smell it.

    @ Reema,

Thanks for dropping by! :) … AND for educating me about the meaning of ‘Nayantara’ ..

    Do keep coming back!
